Biography
Karine Forget is an emerging painter born in Joliette in 1987.
From a young age, his parents taught him to draw landscapes using a line for the horizon , a circle for the sun and M's to illustrate birds . Today, these three elements are the bases of all his works.
The first memory of exploring artistic style was in kindergarten when her teacher accused her of plagiarizing the artistic style of a classmate whom she admired for the praise he received. It was at this moment that she learned that there is no point in wanting to do and be like others.
It was during her secondary studies that she explored various concentrations: music, scenography, and journalism. The rest of his academic career consists of arts and letters, presentation design and computer graphics.
During her maternity leave in 2014, being isolated at home, she began exploring abstract acrylic painting .
The landscapes appeared as she embraced her creative impulses.
Following a separation, she delved deeper into art and isolated herself from the world to reconnect with herself.
From this time emerges aquatic landscapes inhabited by a solitary boat , a star and a few birds taking flight. The journey began and destination after destination each work found a buyer as a passenger.
She expressed herself without words with more and more people, realizing that her moods transposed into painting resonated with many people.
It was by having the need to isolate herself in art that she discovered a magnificent way of connecting with others and realized,
thereby,
that we all have the same interior landscapes.
